Frequently asked questions.
What is the difference between land management, and land clearing?
Land management aims to optimize land use, ensuring long-term productivity, and balancing environmental, economic, and customer needs of the land. Land Management is maintenance of the land after the initial clearing or thinning. While land clearing primarily focuses on the physical removal of unwanted vegetation, debris, and other obstructions from a specific area for a defined purpose, such as construction, agriculture, or development.
How long after clearing before the area will become overgrown?
Regrowth in a cleared area is common, initially grasses and small shrubs will begin to grow, followed by larger trees. In Missouri Bradford can spread aggressively if not removed and managed properly. Without maintenance of the area overgrowth will return to the prior state.
What is forestry mulching?
Forestry mulching is a land-clearing technique that uses a specialized machine to cut, grind, and shred vegetation (trees, brush, etc.) into mulch, which is then spread on the ground.
